Also, toner works on removing the existing dirt or makeup you may have on your skin even after cleansing as the Ph level of water is around 7 whereas the Ph level of skin is 5.5.  Now, we will know more about the toners that help you keep your skin balanced and glowing.

In your skincare routine, you may add toners for different reasons. Recently, there are many toners that focus on various concerns. For example, if someone has very dry skin, he/she needs a hydrating and moisturizing toner. On the other hand, oily skin needs something lightweight but hydrating as oily skin can be dehydrated as well. Also, sensitive skin requires mild toner that will not irritate the skin, rather it will make the skin less sensitive.

In addition, the skin needs exfoliation each week so that the skin does not have any clogged and open pores, dead cells, dark patches, sun tan, or excess sebum. Using an exfoliating toner every two days a week can be a healthy solution.

Now the question is which ingredients are effective for each type of skin. The ingredients like Centella Asiatica, Propolis, Vitamin C, Panthenol, Snail Mucin, Tea Tree, and Green Tea can be used on a daily basis as they add nutrition and give the skin a healthy glow. Also, these ingredients can slow your aging process too as these can contribute to collagen production. Furthermore,  these ingredients can improve skin elasticity and make wrinkles less visible.

Apart from these, there are some active exfoliating ingredients like AHA and BHA. Most exfoliating toners include Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, Azelaic Acid, and so on. These can also heal the skin and keep a healthy glow on the skin.

Still, if someone is new to using toners, the toner must have mild and beginner-friendly ingredients like Centella Asiatica Extract or Snail Mucin that do not cause irritation, instead, these can soothe the irritation and heal the acne-prone skin. Also, toners need to protect the hydration of the skin.
